Some trees can be safely felled in a single piece. Most can’t — especially in residential settings, where a wrong move means a fence, a fender, or a roof. When that’s the case, we climb the tree and dismantle it from the top down, piece by piece, with each section controlled by rigging the whole way to the ground.
Every removal starts with reading the site: what’s underneath, what’s nearby, where the wood can land safely, and how the tree itself is loaded. From there, we either fell it conventionally with proper notching and hinging, or we go up. Climbing-based dismantling lets us bring a tree down without taking anything else with it — no fence damage, no garden destroyed, no ruts across the lawn.
All of our rigging gear is ANSI certified or CSA approved. Ropes, blocks, friction devices, slings — every piece of equipment meets industry standards. There are no surprises with our gear, because we don’t cut corners on the stuff that keeps the tree, the property, and the climber safe.
